Time Changes Things, But You Have to Change Them Yourself : An article, a Limerick and a Haiku
We often hear the phrase “time heals all wounds,” implying that the mere passage of time can fix everything. But the truth is, time changes things, but it doesn’t necessarily change them for the better. It’s up to us to take action and actively make changes in our lives.
We can’t sit back and expect things to magically improve on their own. Whether it’s a personal issue, a professional goal, or a societal problem, it’s up to us to be proactive in making positive changes. We can’t rely on time to do the work for us.
However, making changes isn’t always easy. It can be uncomfortable and scary to step out of our comfort zones and take risks. But it’s important to remember that growth only happens when we challenge ourselves and push past our fears.
So, if you want to change something in your life, don’t wait for time to do it for you. Take the necessary steps to make it happen. It may not be easy, but it will be worth it.
Limerick:
Time may change things, it’s been said,
But don’t just wait around in bed.
If you want a shift,
You must take the gift,
And work hard to see it ahead.
Haiku:
Time changes all things,
But you must be the driver
Of your own progress.
