Limerick: There once was a man with a vision
Whose criterion caused a collision
He aimed for the stars
But forgot about Mars
And missed his desired decision
Haiku: Criterion set high
Judging by the finest line
Standards held in mind
Free verse:
Criterion, the measure we hold Against
which all is weighed and sold
A standard set,
a reference point
By which we judge,
evaluate and anoint
Some strive to meet it,
some surpass
While others fall short,
and alas But through it all,
criterion remains
A guiding light that ever sustains
For in its shadow,
we find clarity
And strive to reach
our greatest rarity
So let us not shy away or fear
The criterion that we hold dear.
