Today’s Haiku, Limerick, Free verse Poetry is on the Topic “Criterion”

Limerick: There once was a man with a vision

Whose criterion caused a collision

He aimed for the stars

But forgot about Mars

And missed his desired decision

Haiku: Criterion set high

Judging by the finest line

Standards held in mind

Free verse:

Criterion, the measure we hold Against

which all is weighed and sold

A standard set,

a reference point

By which we judge,

evaluate and anoint

Some strive to meet it,

some surpass

While others fall short,

and alas But through it all,

criterion remains

A guiding light that ever sustains

For in its shadow,

we find clarity

And strive to reach

our greatest rarity

So let us not shy away or fear

The criterion that we hold dear.
