… that today is the birthday of the L.A. Movie Theater? The first movie theater opened in Los Angeles, California, on this day in 1902. Housed in a circus tent, the venue was dubbed “The Electric Theater.” Its earliest pictures included New York in a Blizzard. Admission cost about 10 cents for a one-hour show, which is a little less than what we pay today. 😉~~~
