Did you know…
… that today is Country Music Broadcast Day? On this day in 1922, WSB Radio in Atlanta became the first station to feature country music. Trivia fans: WSB was also the first station in America to adopt a slogan, “The Voice of the South,” the first radio station to originate the use of musical notes for station identification, the first radio station to broadcast the first radio wedding, and the first radio station to provide broadcast service for an entire school system. Whew, busy station! 😉
~~~Today’s Inspirational Quote:
“Learn the art of patience. Apply discipline to your thoughts when they become anxious over the outcome of a goal. Impatience breeds anxiety, fear, discouragement and failure. Patience creates confidence, decisiveness, and a rational outlook, which eventually leads to success.”
— Brian Adams
