Today’s the day for Presidential press,

In the USA, the media’s in excess.

Reporters gather, asking their questions,

The President responds with his suggestions.

But in India,

it’s been nine long years,

Since the PM had any pressers, it appears.

The media waits, but no response,

Transparency and accountability,

both in a lull.

Limerick:

There once was an Indian PM,

No press conference, it’s quite the gem.

While in the USA, Reporters have their say,

A stark difference, it seems to them.

Haiku:

Presidential talk,

Indian PM’s silence,

A contrast so stark.
