A dose of laughter today

“If you want to tell

people the truth,

make them laugh,

otherwise

they’ll kill you.”

― George Bernard Shaw

  1. Free Verse Poem:

If you want to tell people the truth, Make them laugh, or they’ll tear you down, It’s a delicate art, a balance of proof, And humor, lest your words drown.

You can’t be too heavy, too serious, Or they’ll turn away in fear, But make them chuckle, and they’ll be curious, To hear what you have to share.

So use wit and irony and satire, To drive your point home with ease, And don’t forget to add a little fire, To ignite their minds and beliefs.

For if you want to tell people the truth, You have to make them see, That laughter can be a powerful proof, Of the truth that you set free.

  1. Limerick:

If you want to tell people the truth, You must do it with humor, forsooth! For if you’re too stern, They’ll never learn, And you’ll end up with a broken tooth!

  1. Haiku:

Tell the truth with laughs, Or face the wrath of the masses, Humor saves the day.
