Did you know…

… that today is Bright Moon Anniversary Day? In 1999, for the first time since 1866, three events coincided to bring a large bright moon (about 7% brighter than usual): the full moon, the winter solstice (when the sun is closer to Earth), and the lunar perigee (point in the Moon’s orbit closest to Earth). Celebrate this day by howling at the Moon! 😉
