Did you know…
… that today is the birthday of Carl Sagan (1934)? Carl Edward Sagan was an American astronomer, planetary scientist, and author. He played a leading role in the American space program from its very beginning and was a consultant and adviser to NASA. He is also best known for his contribution to research on extraterrestrial life. Trivia buffs: Sagan’s interest in astronomy began when he was five years old when his mother sent him to the library to find books on stars!
