Did you know…
… that today is Slowest Marathon in History Day? In 1986, Vietnam veteran Bob Wieland finally crossed the finish line of the New York Marathon, just 4 days, 2 hours, 48 minutes, and 17 seconds after beginning. His was the slowest time ever for a marathon. He was also the first person to run a marathon without legs. Over his lifetime Bob has finished many marathons, often taking multiple days to finish. Amazing!
~~~Today’s Inspirational Quote:
“When a person becomes crystal clear as to exactly what they want to accomplish and focuses their time and energy on this one goal, any person can move mountains.”
— Jimmy Sweeney
