… that today is, besides being Halloween in the US (Happy Halloween!), is Discovery of the Pirate Ship Whydah Day? In 1985, divers located the remains of the pirate ship Whydah, which sank off Cape Cod, Massachusetts in 1717. At the time of its sinking, the ship was loaded with pirate booty.
